Fashion In Film (2008)
by admin on Apr.25, 2009, under Real Movie News Reviews
This documentary doesn’t really document anything, except the fashion industry’s drive to squeeze profit out of Hollywood. Read how I stitch them up here.
Head Case Season 1 (2007)
by admin on Mar.17, 2009, under Real Movie News Reviews

The funniest thing I’ve seen this year. As politically incorrect as In Bruges, this machine-gun paced TV series about a Hollywood analyst is a riot. Get my complete diagnosis here.
The Zeta Project
by admin on Mar.16, 2009, under Real Movie News Reviews
This spin off from the Batman Beyond cartoon melds simple stories with surprisingly adult concepts and questions. Lower quality animation doesn’t detract from its charm. Full review here.
Married With Children (1996)

The Bundy’s are back for their tenth season. Lacking some of the cutting satire from the earlier seasons, the jokes still come flying fast and furious. Sit back on your couch, tuck one hand into your waistband and read the full review here.
The Baron (1966)
by admin on Mar.09, 2009, under Real Movie News Reviews
A 60s series from the same stable that delivered The Saint, The Baron is the tale of a pre-Lovejoy antique dealer who dabbles in international espionage, solving murders and rescuing damsels in distress. A little camp now, but fun nevertheless. Find my vintage review here.
Watchmen (2009)
by admin on Mar.06, 2009, under SBCC Reviews
Visually close to the source material, but so shallow in comparison to Moore and Gibbon’s magnum opus. Read, before you watch, Watchmen. To find out why, click here.
L’innocente (1979)
by admin on Mar.04, 2009, under Real Movie News Reviews
Embarassingly my first encounter with Luchino Visconti’s work, this is his final film. Stylistically a mile from his neo-realistic roots, but still wonderful to behold. More fawning over the work here.
Walled In (2009)
by admin on Mar.02, 2009, under Real Movie News Reviews
A horror thriller without the courage to stick to its guns. An atmospheric opening is let down by a confusing plot and some less than stellar acting. Crack open the full review here.
Stiletto (2008)
by admin on Mar.02, 2009, under Real Movie News Reviews
Revenge needs a make-over, if this is the best it can do. Keeping the audience in the dark as to the protagonists motivations while showing those of selected bad guys might be original, but it definitely is confusing. The film gets a knife between the shoulder blades here.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1982)
by admin on Feb.27, 2009, under Real Movie News Reviews
Overly theatrical performances don’t detract too much from this made for TV version of Hugo’s novel. An all star cast and pretty high production values, but a little too stagey. Full review here.
